The Youth Alliance for Leadership and Development in Africa in collaboration with the African Continental Free Trade Area Secretariat, African Export-Import Bank, United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, the International Trade Centre and United Nations Development Programme invite all youth who are nationals of African countries, as well as those in the diaspora to participate in the YALDA AfCFTA Youth Creative Competition on the topic; “The African Continental Free Trade Area: What is in it for young Africans?”.
The Youth Alliance for Leadership and Development in Africa is a non-governmental organization established to create a platform for passion-driven and zealous youths to create an enterprising networking database for those with ambitious interests in Africa.YALDA is designed to rub proactive like minds in order to increase their capacity to take on positive leadership roles in their universities, countries and on the continent.
Requirements for YALDA AfCFTA Youth Creative Competition
- Applicant must be a national of an African Union Member state;
- Submit a national ID as proof of above;
- Be residing permanently or temporarily on the continent or the diaspora;
- Be aged between 18 and 35 years;
- Be passionate about Africa’s development and deeper understanding of the AfCFTA.
